The Streaming Giant Casts Spot-On Actor for Bon Clay in One Piece Upcoming Installment

Baroque Works is geared up to exert significant influence in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, though the real showdown isn’t set to occur until the next season, and a cherished, audience-beloved member has now been chosen.

The platform declared recently that Cole Escola has joined the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Mr. 2. Bon Clay can use their power to transform into an perfect replica of any individual they’ve laid a hand on with their dominant hand. The performer, who is identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will play a rendition of that figure reimagined as gender non-binary, rather than as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, as in the source material and animated series.

The new cast member is joined by a number of fresh additions who will portray Baroque Works to life, including chief Sir Crocodile, brought to life by the well-known actor, a talented actress as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who also joins the ensemble as King Nefertari Cobra of the fictional land.

Though the role is a major member of Baroque Works, the character will be introduced in One Piece the third season. With the next season expected to adapt the Little Garden arc, this represents a major departure in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could suggest additional alterations to the story’s structure.

Their mix of precise humor and profound feeling makes them a standout choice for the role. Along with their latest vocal work in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and numerous honors for penning and acting in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the range they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s most celebrated figures.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its season two on the tenth of March, 2026.
